One of the primary goals of the Mission 831 Basketball Shootout is to provide food for those in need by partnering with a local food bank or mission. MVC is pleased to be partnering with Martha's Kitchen which is based in San Jose but has recently expanded to Watsonville.

MVC Athletics is asking everyone who participates and attends games during the Mission 831 Basketball Shootout to bring the following items for donations to those in need: canned fruits, canned veggies, canned beans, canned soups, rice, beans, pasta, cereal, oil and any other boxed non-perishable food such as mashed potatoes or stuffing is appreciated.
